Other shelters from various groupsThe next part of the brief is construct one of our models into the programme Rhinoceros. This is software that I had never used before and took quite a bit of time to understand and learn. Due to my lack of experience with the programme, I chose to do one of my simpler models (Paper Model no.3).
I continued the folding exercise using pocket tissue as the material. Being a much softer material than paper, I found that I had to treat the tissue accordingly and concentrate more on creating folds to support the structures. Essentially there was less freedom with the design and aesthetic forming due to having to just ensuring that the structure can stand on its one.
